Hot, cheesy noodles, crispy toppings, mmm, mmm - yes, mac and cheese is the home-iest and most comforting of foods and Aspenites are obsessed with it. If you love it as much as we do, then don't miss the 6th annual Mac and Cheese Festival in downtown Aspen on September 10. Sample mac and cheese recipes created by Aspen's finest restaurants, vote for your favorite recipe and indulge in the "cheesy" atmosphere. Restaurants represented this year include Cache Cache, Brunelleschi's, the Ute City Bar and Grill, Red Onion, Rustique, and the kitchens of the St. Regis and Craig Cordts-Pearce. The event runs from 2-5pm on Hopkins Avenue's "restaurant row" and is free to everyone. Bring your own spoon for sampling and dig in!
