Winterskol, Aspen's annual winter festival, opens on Thursday, January 8 with the Mad Hatter's Ball, a recently-revived Aspen event. Crazy hats, the sillier the better, are a must, so start planning your chapeau for the evening. The ball begins at 7:30pm at the Wheeler Opera House, with music by Jes Grew starting at 8pm.
