An item in the Aspen Times caught our eye (and stomachs) today: "The Aspen Historical Society is hosting it's annual Ice Cream Social from 2-4pm Saturday." That news item tells us that this is another return to a more normal summer, as the event was cancelled last year. Ice cream bowls and the famous "Aspen Crud" spiked milkshakes will be on sale on the grounds of the Wheeler Stallard house. While you're there, admission is free to enter the museum where the current exhibit is entitled "Decade by Decade: Aspen Revealed." Details can be found at aspenhistory.org.
