Aspen is well known as a cultural mecca, particularly in the summer. Tonight's offerings are a perfect example, as they cover virtually every musical genre. The Snowmass free Thursday Night Concert series presents Bono Bros Band, a rock and roll, blues group, at 6:30pm on Fanny Hill. The Aspen Music Festival presents the first performance of Rossini's rollicking "Barber of Seville" at 7pm at the Wheeler Opera House. If more decorous classical music is your thing, you can enjoy a Baroque Evening with engaging conductor Nicholas McGegan at 8pm in Harris Hall. Finally, if you love swing music, check out the performance by Big Bad Voodoo Daddy at Belly UP at 8:30pm.
