In early April, one of our favorite events, Aspen Film's Aspen Shortsfest, usually takes place. A banquet of short films, from 30 seconds to 30 minutes, Shortsfest usually opens when winter crowds have thinned and the audience is mostly comprised of local residents. Because of the ongoing pandemic, Shortsfest is being presented virtually for the second year in a row, so even though you're not here in Aspen, you can enjoy this unique event (and maybe even see a short that will make it to a future Academy Awards ceremony) and learn why we love it so much. A ticket buys you a curated slate of short films, and because this is an Oscar-qualifying event you'll see some amazingly touching, funny, thought-provoking and enjoyable films you may not have a chance to see anywhere else.
