Lovers of the written word are in for a five-day treat, as Aspen Summer Words begins its five-day writing festival. The 39th festival is presenting intensive writing workshops and renowned author readings and discussions at Paepcke Audition and at the Gant. Summer Words is recognized as one of the country's most important literary festivals, and noted authors will be participating including Richard Russo, Dani Shapiro, Ann Hood and Andre Dubus III.
