If you love to hear about adventuresome travels, tomorrow night's event at the Pitkin County Library is perfect for you. The Library will present "At The Confluence of Mountains" - the story of cyclist Matthew Cull's 2017 bike trip throughout the Pamir Mountains of Tajikistan and the Tien Shan Mountains of Kyrgyzstan. Cull traveled solo through spectacular mountain scenery, enduring the outstandingly bad roads that cut through mountain passes and high-altitude grasslands. On the way, he encountered oasis villages of welcoming Tajik people and the Kyrgyz nomadic people, who herd their animals and live in yurts in the vast wilderness surrounding them.
