Local brothers Steve and Mike Marolt will screen their most recent film, Beyond Skiing Everest, tomorrow night at the Wheeler Opera House at 7pm. The Marolt brothers are renowned for their adventurous trips to scale some of the world's biggest mountains and then skiing down them. The film uses footage from multiple winter trips to the Himalayas and also includes interviews with both Marolt brothers and some of their hiking partners. While serving as a retrospective on their later careers, the film documents their induction earlier this year into the US Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame, honored for their unique mountaineering. Mike Marolt plans to take the film on the road later this year. All profits for the screening will go to the Jimmie Huega Legacy Foundation for Multiple Sclerosis. Tickets at aspenshowtix.com.
