As we enter the month of March, there are some terrific evening events going on this week. So, save some energy for off-mountain activities and enjoy our abundance of things to do. Tonight, February 27, the Wheeler Opera House presents the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour at 7pm. On Tuesday, February 28, Aspen Words presents author Yaa Gyasi at 6pm at Paepcke Auditorium on the Aspen Institute campus. But, if reading isn't your thing, first thing Tuesday morning, you can take part in the Mother of All Ascensions - an uphill race from Fanny Hill up to Gwyn's High Alpine restaurant. And finally, if you love dance programs, be sure to attend the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet's "Shadowland" performance on March 2 at 7:30pm at the Aspen District Theater.
