Every winter, Aspen Words presents a welcome respite from Aspen's outdoor activity, Winter Words - frequently referred to as "apres ski for the mind." Winter Words presents a series of author presentations that often include readings and audience Q & A. It's an intimate way for readers to get to know some of today's most accomplished writers. The first Winter Words of the season will take place tonight, January 17, and will present Azar Nafisi, the Iranian author of "Reading Lolita in Tehran." All Winter Words presentations take place at Paepcke Audition, on the Aspen Institute Campus, and begin at 6pm.
