World Cup celebrations have made this a particularly fun St. Patrick's Day in Aspen, and we expect that to carry over into what will be an exciting weekend. Count on superb ski competition during the day and plenty of party and music in Wagner Park at night. Men's and women's slalom and giant slalom races will be run on Saturday and Sunday, with post-race Crystal Globe awards handed out after the completion of each of the day's races. Tonight's concert follows a St. Patrick's Day party in the park, and is by Gogol Bordello. Tomorrow night, one of Aspen's favorite performers, Michael Franti and his band Spearhead, will rock Wagner Park. Both concerts begin at 7pm. Did we mention that all the action at the races and Wagner Park is just a few blocks from Aspen Square?
