As you plan your summer travel to the Aspen area this season, we want you to know that some changes are coming to public transportation. This will impact not only trips around town by bus, but also the Maroon Bells shuttle buses. As of June 7, the Roaring Fork Transit Authority will increase capacity to 100% on all of its system-wide bus routes. Wearing masks while riding the bus may continue to be mandatory through at least September 13, per a directive from the Transportation Safety Administration. And for the second year in a row, guests will need to make reservations for the trip up to the iconic Maroon Bells, and they may be purchased on the Aspen Chamber Resort Association website.
