The El Nino weather pattern is returning to Colorado, and in the last 48 hours our mountains have received between 5 inches (Buttermilk) and 9 inches (Aspen Highlands) of fresh snow, with more weather brewing out in the Pacific Ocean. Aspen Highlands boasts more than 6 ft at the top of the mountain, while Snowmass is measuring more than 5 ft at its summit. Needless to say, we've got a LOT of winter left to enjoy - just take a look at this great shot by Jeremy Swanson from last week!
