Aspen residents are uphill-crazy - they love to hike uphill all year round - and they refer to it as "walking up." To honor this pasttime, the city is holding the inaugural Aspen Uphill Festival on Saturday, January 28. Activities will take place on the Aspen Gondola Plaza from 10am to 3pm, and will include a free raffle for an Alpine touring setup, ski swap benefitting AVSC and backcountry ski demo on the Little Nell slope.
