A fundraiser for the Aspen Strong Foundation will be held tomorrow, Saturday August 20 at 7:30 am. The event called "Hike. Hope. Heal." is a hike up Smuggler Mountain beginning at 8:30am. Participants will gather at 7:30am at Herron Park and will take part in a warm up at 8am before walking over to the base of Smuggler Mountain, to begin the hike. Afterwards, there will be a picnic and raffle at Herron Park with music provided by DJ Naka J and Mack Bailey. Proceeds will go to the Aspen Community Foundation's Mental Health Fund, which helps subsidize treatment for individuals who can't afford it. Details at aspenstrong.org.
