Great news for fans of the 5Point Film Festival planned for the Wheeler Opera House for April 22-26. Although the in-person festival has been postponed until mid-October, the folks at 5Point have decided to hold a free virtual festival, April 22, 24 and 26. Following in the footsteps of Aspen Film's Shortsfest, the virtual festival has been named 5Point Unlocked. The three days will feature films chosen from 5Point's archives plus short vignettes by special guests called "Life in Lockdown." The programs on April 22 and 24 will air at 7pm, and the family-friendly films chosen will be shown at 3pm on April 26. You can register to view the festival at 5pointfilm.org/events/unlocked.
