Sunday, April 5, Buttermilk Mountain will close for the season. But don't be sad - it's also Bacon Appreciation Day at Buttermilk and if you love bacon, it's the place to be! Bacon waffles inaugurate the day at 9am at the top of the Summit Express, bacon-wrapped scallops will be offered at patrol headquarters at 12:30pm and if you stick around until the end of the day, there will be a competition between bartenders for best bacon-inspired cocktail at 4pm. On Monday, plan to eat only veggies and fruit!
