The 5Point Film Festival begins today, April 23 and runs through Sunday. The weekend of film programs and events kicks off with an opening night party from 5pm-7pm, with the first film program screening from 7 pm-10 pm. Activies include parties, a group run, river cleanup in Basalt with the Roaring Fork Conservancy, a book signing and more. The final program on Sunday will present climber Tommy Caldwell, who recently accomplished a successful ascent of the Dawn Wall at Yosemite. All events take place in Carbondale.
