Live theater is alive and well in Aspen thanks to Theatre Aspen. Every summer in their tent in Rio Grande Park, Theatre Aspen presents a variety of shows in repertoire--from drama to musicals to kid's productions. This year's shows include the ageless musical "Cabaret," the dramatic "Other Desert Cities," "Peter and the Starcatcher" and "Joanie B. Jones the Musical." The season kicks off tonight with its opening show, "Cabaret" at 8pm at the Hurst Theatre in Rio Grande Park. Details at theatreaspen.org.
