Snowmass has made a habit of hosting some of the best Mardi Gras parties around, so it's only fitting that we're giving you the weekend to prepare your costume. Events kick off with a Mardi Gras Celebration at Elk Camp from 11:30am - 3pm. The Basalt Street Horns will play throughout the afternoon, while a costume contest with prizes, New Orleans-style food and drink will be served. Afternoon off-mountain festivities in Snowmass Village include a bead toss, face painting, a parade at 4pm, and fireworks on Fanny Hill at 7:30pm. "Laissez les bons temps rouler!"
