The 26th annual Ducky Derby will be presented by the Rotary Club of Aspen on Saturday, August 12. The Ducky Derby is the Aspen Rotary's principal annual fundraiser, and is a day full of fun and festivities for the whole family. The proceeds help fund the club's efforts to support local youth groups and non-profits, and contribute to the International Rotary's world service projects. You can "adopt" a duck at multiple outlets all over Aspen up until the day of the Derby. The Club will release 30,000 adorable yellow ducks into the Roaring Fork River, and you never know, you may turn out to be the winner of the $10,000 cash prize. The Ducky Derby takes place in Rio Grande Park beginning at 10:30am. The "Duck Drop" release is at 2:15pm. Don't miss the sight!
