Today is a perfect example: At 5:30pm tonight, the Aspen Center for Physics presents a free talk, The Secret Life of the Higgs Boson, about the mysteries and unanswered questions surrounding the renowned particle, offered by University of Cincinnati professor Stefania Gori. After that intriguing talk, head down to the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies to enjoy a Sunset Beaver Walk. The Beaver Walk begins at 7:30pm at the Hallam Lake center below the post office. If you're lucky, you may get to see the whole resident beaver family!
