This weekend's finals of the US Grand Prix in Snowmass are a big deal. The multi-day competition is the second-to-last qualifying event for the 2018 Olympics in South Korea, which begin next month. Consequently, the big guns in snowboarding and free-skiing are out in force, including Shaun White, Danny Davis, Chloe Kim and more - all familiar names to people who follow the sport. Ski half-pipe finals are today and tomorrow's finals will include the men's and women's snowboard half-pipe competition. Winners of these events will take part in next week's final event at Mammoth.
